By accessing or using i18nMate ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

i18nMate is a Visual Studio Code extension that provides AI-powered translation of JSON locale files used in internationalization (i18n) workflows. The Service is provided by i18nMate ("we", "us", or "our").

3. Free and Paid Plans

The Service offers both free and paid subscription plans:

• Free Plan: Includes a limited number of translations per month (currently 20). No payment required.
• Pro Plan: Includes unlimited translations and additional features for a monthly subscription fee.

We reserve the right to modify pricing, features, and usage limits at any time with reasonable notice.

4. Subscription and Billing

• Pro Plan subscriptions are billed monthly through our payment provider (Paddle.com).
• Your subscription will automatically renew each month unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• All fees are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice.

5. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
• Share your account credentials with third parties.
• Use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that overloads our infrastructure.
• Translate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates intellectual property rights.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by i18nMate and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your translated content remains your property.

7. Data and Privacy

We process only the JSON text you submit for translation. We do not access your source code, file system, or personal files beyond what is necessary to provide the translation service. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the Service's reliability, accuracy, or suitability for any particular purpose. AI-generated translations may contain errors, and you are responsible for reviewing all translated content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, i18nMate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service, including but not limited to losses from inaccurate translations.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
